Gloom Grid...

Find your way through the gloom to reach the exit!

Use the SPACEBAR to switch back and forth between move and illumination modes. In move mode, the ARROW or WASD keys will allow you to traverse the grid, but be sure to stay on the path and avoid the danger zones that deplete your health! In illumination mode, use the ARROW/WASD keys to bring light to the darkness and see what awaits. While your illumination ability does use up energy, there are energy sources hidden throughout the grid for you to recharge -- but you might have to take some damage to get to them!

Note: Use the back button in the browser to get out of full-screen mode.

I originally started this for LÖVE Jam 2025 [B-SIDE] (Theme: "Reveal"), but I couldn't finish by the deadline. So I decided to "revive" it for Revival Jam 2025, which is all about bringing abandoned projects back to life.

Made with the LÖVE framework. Love.js was used for the web build.
